Conference registrants can look forward to a stimulating sojourn in Wanganui, enjoying a feast of Floral Art, which as well as FloravisioNZ 2010 and the National Designer of the Year exhibitions includes the following activities available to them

  • Floral Art workshops for conference registrants only, are planned for Friday.
  • Innovations this year include a full day cultural immersion workshop at a local Marae and environmental designing at Kowhai Park on the riverbank.
  • The popular traditional workshop will have a point of difference this year, as pupils under expert tuition will decorate the Collegiate Chapel for public viewing and a service of Thanksgiving.
  • Several other contemporary workshops will also be available but it is important to apply for workshops early as they are always popular and spaces fill quickly.
  • Floral Theatre demonstrations will be held in the Prince Edward Auditorium at Wanganui Collegiate School on Saturday 10th April 2010, between 10am and 2.30pm.
  • Registrants may view these floral demonstrations, presented by FASNZ designers sitting their National Demonstrating tests. Those intending to view these demonstrations should indicate on their Conference registration form.
