FloraFest 2009

The six Floral Art Groups in the Nelson / Marlborough Area can be justly proud of the very successful and enjoyable Floral Art Home and Garden Trail held on a brilliant spring day in 2009.

A selection of garden art, patio and indoor floral art designs in private homes and gardens, a builder’s display home and a church were among the venues in which this event was staged.

The local Floral Art, Area Designer of the Year competition was held in conjunction with this display and held in the Atrium of the Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village complex at Stoke, Nelson.

Display sponsorship and public support raised money for both the Nelson and Marlborough Hospice Trusts.
