Auckland Area Garden Party

On a perfect March day 2008 the Helensville Floral Art Club hosted an Area Day and Garden Party for the Auckland Area, at the home of Lady Trish Clarke in Kumeu.

The theme of the day was “Fashion” and the 17 members of the Helensville club presented floral hats and bags to complement the two fashion parades. A gold coin vote for the most popular Handbag was won by Handbag No 9.

A lovely lunch was served and eaten beneath sun umbrellas dotted around the garden and pool. Local merchants had stalls selling a variety of wonderful products.
