FASNZ Demonstrating Floral Theatre Production

During conference each of four candidates, presented a floral theatre production, as part of the test for the FASNZ Demonstrating Unit.

This is one of four modules tested for the FASNZ Demonstrating Unit. Other modules include a half hour demonstration to a smaller audience, an Assignment and a Written Plan and Budget.

Each candidate had one hour to present her floral designs around a theme of her own choice, accompanied by suitable background music and stage lighting. While they created their designs the candidates informed the audience of their thoughts and ideas on their chosen theme, as well as the background work involved in organising their presentation, describing their plant material and other highlights in their designs.

The capacity audience was enthralled with the innovative and creative presentation from all candidates and the standard they achieved and were delighted when it was announced later in the day, by the three official examiners that all four candidates had passed this module.

Candidates were; Francine Thomas, Dorothy Turner, Vanita Patel, Roseanne Armstrong.
