'Topography of a Harsh Land'
Plant material included pinned Magnolia ‘little gem’ leaves, rolled astellia (silver spear) leaves, white Phalaenopsis, white tulip with paper bark for the clay slips. This sculptural design depicts the harshness of the area, the bush, the erosion of slips of clay, and the river with its rapids, some of the many hardships these pioneers endured.
