'The Moth'

A lot of time was spent preparing and assembling the mitred Phormium tenax stems (NZ flax flower stems) to create this innovative design which includes rolled flax leaves, yellow gerberas and Fatsia japonica foliage.

"The Moth" from the CD Oceania accompanied the creating of this design. The strong up and down, in and out rhythm was in keeping with the various lines taken in the placing of the mitred Phormium.

This imaginative design was staged in front of a larger but similar design to create an amazing and imposing creation.
