FASNZ Conference Hawkes' Bay 2008

The 'Simply the Best' FASNZ Conference for 2008 was held during April in Napier, Hawkes Bay.

An innovation at FASNZ Conference 2008 hosted by the Hawkes Bay Area was an inaugural FASNZ Inc fund raising charity event.

Teams of floral designers from FASNZ Areas throughout New Zealand came together to decorate eight homes and venues with a variety of amazing designs.

For two days the public flocked to visit the venues which were spread over a wide area. They were impressed by the variety of ways in which plant material had been used in designs and were generous with their praise and appreciation of the outstanding displays.

A fitting conclusion to this wonderful festival was the presentation of $35,000 to Cranford Hospice.
