Contemporary Design

Anna has a diploma of NZ Professional Floristry and is one of New Zealand’s renowned florists. Recently returned after 3 ½ years overseas where she designed floral works for high society events in England and attended workshops in Europe with Gregor Lersch, Per Benjamin and Pim van den Akker, Anna is now designing and co-ordinating boutique events, and tutoring inspirational floral design classes from her new business venture in Tauranga.

We were delighted to once again invite Anna to demonstrate and inspire us with innovative Contemporary designs and concepts.

A new concept introduced used ‘pool noodles’ as a mechanic in floral designs, which has possibilities reaching as far as the imagination can stretch. Several different ways of incorporating noodles were illustrated in three of the four designs Anna presented.
